In recent weeks, it's been difficult to keep up with the volume of bug fixes, new features and improvements that Garmin has delivered to the Enduro 3, Fenix E and Fenix 8 (currently at 1,099.99 $ on Amazon). As an example, the company released system software 12.22 late last month with around 130 changes.
However, it tested even more under its beta program that didn't make the cut for Garmin's stable distribution channel. In contrast, the updates introduced by the company this month contained far fewer improvements.
For example, beta 12.32 arrived almost a week ago with a three-line changelog. Today, beta 12.34 arrived with even fewer changes. Still, the update should fix an issue with Garmin's Connect IQ service, which could result in a random crash.
Currently, Garmin has not confirmed when this bug fix will reach the Enduro 3, Fenix E, and Fenix 8 smartwatches that use the stable software. All indications are that at least one more beta will arrive before Garmin releases a new stable update. To this end, beta 12.34 comes with the ECG and Dive features disabled.
