Rocksteady officially announces the killing of Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, with some good news for those who might be interested.
The British studio has in fact detailed the content of upcoming Season 4 in Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, which will therefore be its last. The critical and financial disaster that was this game-service commissioned by Warner Bros. Games will soon definitely be put to death. But Rocksteady still thought of a way to keep him on life support for players holding him.
Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League will soon leave us, but not completely
Before the absolute crash that was the game-service Concord at PlayStation, Suicide Squad Kill the Justice, another game-service which had the effect of an oven, was considered one of the worst video game commercial failures of history, with around 200 million loss for Warner Bros. Games. The idea of playing as Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, King Shark and Deadshot to eliminate the greatest heroes of the DCU controlled by Brainiac, all in a service game terribly lacking in interesting content, despite gameplay having its good moments, n clearly didn’t rouse the crowds.
Rocksteady, however, committed to supporting its Suicide Squad game until Season 4, which will end in January 2025, and kept its word. This will add an iconic DC supervillain, in the person of Deathstroke, aka Slade Wilson (not to be confused with Deadpool/Wade Wilson from Marvel, of course). The deadly mercenary will be entitled to a whole arsenal to accomplish his mission against Brainiac and will therefore complete the team after Lawless, Deadshot’s daughter, in Season 3.
So it’s definitely a final clap for Suicide Squad Kill the Suicide Squad, with that said, some good news: an offline mode, so that the game is still accessible to those who own it. After that, Rocksteady will once again be free to explore greener pastures. Like for example a new Batman Arkham, and preferably not in the form of a service game? In any case, that’s all we wish for them.
