If you are one of those who have already tried the experiment by installing several references from the brand, the so-called “re-equipment” packs, intended to complete existing equipment, will undoubtedly attract your attention. Bulbs that are easy to install and control
This Philips Hue pack first contains two Hue White & Color smart bulbs (E27), the brand’s best-sellers. As their name suggests, they are capable of projecting more than 16 million colors, but also warm or cold white lights, which allow us to create a totally personalized lighting atmosphere that is much warmer than with a simple pale bulb. . To install them, nothing could be simpler: just screw them in like normal bulbs, then link them to the dedicated Philips Hue application to be able to choose their color and effects, remotely.
The bulbs are in fact compatible with Bluetooth, which allows you to control them from your smartphone if you are at home. But keep in mind that the range cannot be greater than 10 meters with this protocol; if you are not at home, you will not be able to control your lighting. If you want to be able to do this, you will need to have a Hue Bridge, sold separately, if this is not already the case. A device that works with the Zigbee protocol and which unlocks a whole bunch of features, moreover: control of 50 bulbs instead of 10, programming of routines, simulation of a presence at home… Note also that even in the With no bridge, these bulbs are compatible with voice assistants Google Assistant, Alexa and Siri, allowing you to control them by voice.
