This Sunday, December 7, Notre Dame de will host its first masses since its restoration. The morning mass is broadcast live and on mondovision in The Lord’s Day . We took a behind-the-scenes look at the preparations for this religious program. Intense, but well-oiled rehearsals for the Télévisions teams and for the ecclesiastics.

8:30 a.m., Friday, December 6. The sun rises over Notre Dame de Paris. Stages, banners and OB vans have invaded the square of a cathedral which displays its Gothic charms towards the sky. Behind the heavy doors, the brightness of the nave, the regained blondness of the stones, the gilding of the chandeliers and the rays which pass through the rose windows and stained glass windows, dazzle with their splendor.

On the eve of welcoming heads of state and other crowned heads, overshoes remain essential to protect the ground while construction helmets and yellow vests are more numerous than cassocks.
