The Seasonic brand is somewhat reworking its Core ATX 3 power supply series. Indeed, the series gains compliance with several standards, we are thinking in particular of the ATX 3.1 or even the PCIe 5.1. In short, we are dealing with a completely nice food series.
Core ATX 3: Seasonic power supplies update!
With this series, the brand offers us a range consisting of three powers with models of 650W, 750W and 850W. The set also benefits from 80+ Gold certification (92% efficiency at 50% load). In addition, we also find fully modular cable management, which allows you to carefully select the connectors you need and avoid cluttering the box with unnecessary cables.
Here, this series is intended to be compact and is distinguished by the presence of a 14 cm deep carcass. We should therefore have no difficulty integrating these power supplies into a case PCeven in certain references ITX compatible ATX.

As for the internals, Seasonic is reviewing the internal design of its blocks by opting for a design without internal cables. Instead we have different PCB positioned to promote airflow between components. Moreover, speaking of air flow, we note that ventilation is provided by a 120 mm fan. However, the latter is 100% active, there will be no semi-passive mode.

Finally, all that remains is to talk about the amount of the bill. These are €129.90 in 850W, €115.90 in 750W and €105.90 in 650W. Note that availability in Europe is set for the end of December in black and the end of February in white. Regarding the warranty, the latter is six years!
