This Tuesday, December 3, 2024, a car failed to obey a stop sign and hit a mother and her child in Tonneins (Lot-et-Garonne), while they were riding an electric scooter.
While riding in pairs on an electric scooter this Tuesday, December 3, 2024, a mother and her child were struck in the city center of Tonneins, in Lot-et-Garonne, reports Actu.fr.
The accident took place at an intersection. A stop sign would not have been respected by a car. Without taking the trouble to ensure the good state of health of the two users of the scooter, the driver of the vehicle left.
Fortunately, the mother, aged around 20, and her 3-year-old child did not suffer any serious injuries. The latter carried out some checks at Marmande hospital where they were transferred.
The young mother should file a complaint following this incident. The driver is currently being sought by the police.
