Speaking on the sidelines of a NATO meeting in Brussels, she said a Bundeswehr helicopter had been directly involved in an event linked to a Russian ship.

According to his information, the helicopter was patrolling in the region when it crossed paths with a Russian ship. The latter would then have launched signal shots in the direction of the military machine. Attack shots? Or simply to show off? No additional details were given by the German minister, who also did not specify the date of the incident, reports Bild.

The area is in any case under tension, with an increase in surveillance patrols in the context of suspicions of acts of sabotage that occurred on November 17 and 18.
