The current country manager of Amazon Belgium, Eva Faict, is assigned the same role in the Netherlands. Eva Faict will take on this new role, in addition to her current responsibilities, from January 1, 2025. She succeeds Roeland Donker, who is leaving Amazon after 12 years.

“I am extremely excited and honored to have the opportunity to lead our company in the Netherlands,” said Eva Faist on the occasion of this announcement. The 35-year-old Belgian will soon see herself at the head of not one but two Amazon European markets: Belgium and the Netherlands. She succeeds Roeland Donker, who is leaving Amazon after 12 years with the company. Like her predecessor, Eva Faict also has around ten years at Amazon. She started her adventure within Amazon in 2015 in London. Since then, she has worked in the Luxembourg market but also in the expansion of the e-commerce giant’s markets in Europe and in particular on the launch of the Dutch, Turkish and Belgian markets. Interviewed in October by Gondola, Eva Faict told us about her vision as a young female CEO: “As a manager, I want to make sure that people feel that they are in an inclusive and empowering environment. Besides, I have a lot of women on my team and everyone asks me how I manage to have so many talented women on my teams, but I think they are just attracted by the company environment. ”
