This Monday, December 2, a 49.3 was triggered by the Prime Minister with the aim of adopting the Social Security budget without a vote. The NFP and the RN directly submitted motions of censure should be voted on from this Wednesday.
In its text, the New Popular Front alliance (193 deputies in total) denounces the “reduction of more than 62 billion euros per year in state revenue” since 2017, “for the benefit of very large companies and the wealthiest taxpayers”who has “fueled a record budget deficit.”
For their part, Marine Le Pen, Eric Ciotti and the deputies of their groups denounce in particular “the absence of structural savings expected by the French on immigration or on France’s contribution to the European Union“. They also criticize the government for not having “never wanted to hear the proposals made by the RN group and the UDR group“in a counter-budget and to go against “the vote of 11 million French people” who supported them in the last legislative elections.
Michel Barnier will be a guest on TF1 and France 2 news this Tuesday evening.
