Twenty-eight firefighters attended the scene as well as twelve engines from the Rouvray, Saulieu, Précy, Avallon (Yonne), Toutry, Gevrey, Semur-en-Auxois and Venarey-Les Laumes barracks.

The hotel was closed and unoccupied at the time of this fire and no one was inside.
