Are churches still places of piety? Today, it seems increasingly difficult to affirm with conviction that these places of worship are indeed dedicated to sharing love of neighbor. Especially since in recent weeks (or even recent years), sheep are almost sacrificed on the altar of sin. Indeed, scandals no longer cease to befall ministers of religion.
The most shocking thing is that acts prohibited not only by the law of men but also by that of God are committed by leaders of these churches. The latest fact, reported this week in our columns and widely shared on social networks, is that of the famous pastor Rufin Allogho, currently on the run and wanted by the security forces for cases of rape of young girls under 18 years old. He is the head of the Church “Royal City of Wonders and Prodigies”.
Unfortunately, a few days before this affair broke out, it was the arrest of another famous man of God, the prophet Jérémie, whose name was Pascal Mabengue, who also hit the headlines… in the courts. He is accused of embezzling a minor from one of his “sheep” whom he took care to impregnate when the latter was only 15 years old. At the beginning of November 2024, it was the “International Scheikina Commission” church of the famous Reverend Louis Mbadinga which made Internet users' keyboards crackle.
For good reason, a 3-year-old boy mysteriously lost his life there, without the said church communicating about it. To this day, public opinion is still unaware of the circumstances of this death made public by the grandmother of the deceased following a complaint. Since the occurrence of these cases, several Internet users have continued to attract the attention of the sheep of these churches hyperconnected to Heaven and which now seem to shelter the devil. “When you are asked not to trust these pastors too much, you don't understand. Parents really don't understand anything. It's sad but we learn from it. I hope many will understand and pay attention“, commented Internet user Jean Lamour Obame.
