An increase of 3.50 euros. The price of the consultation with the general practitioner will increase to 30 euros from December 22, compared to 26.50 euros currently. This follows a draft agreement signed in June between Health Insurance and the unions of private doctors. This increase is also valid for pediatric consultations, which increase to 39 euros for children under 2 years old, and 35 euros for those between 2 and 6 years old.

Contracted specialists are also impacted by this increase: a consultation with the gynecologist will now be billed at 37 euros (compared to 31.50 euros currently), that with the psychiatrist will increase to 55 euros (51.70 euros currently). The details can be found here.

Rising gas prices

After a slight drop in November, the price of gas is starting to rise again. The benchmark price for the sale of natural gas published each month by the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) announces an increase of 2.2 to 2.8% in December.

Specifically, it will increase to 0.14135 euros per kWh for cooking and hot water use (compared to 0.13839 euros/kWa in November), and to 0.11237 euros/kWa for heating use (compared to 0.10932 euros/kWa). kWa in November).

Christmas bonus for beneficiaries of minimum social benefits

The Christmas bonus will be paid automatically on December 17, 2024 to households receiving minimum social benefits from the Family Allowance Fund (Caf) or the Mutuelle sociale agricole (MSA). Its amount varies depending on the composition of the household but its minimum amount is 152.45 euros (excluding Mayotte, whose scale is specific).
