Lyon. LPA parking prices are increasing: here are the new prices

It’s not just the prices of public transport on the TCL network that are increasing. LPA manages most large car parks of the Lyon metropolis, 35 in total mainly in Lyon.

Since November 1, 2024, a new price scale has applied with increases in the program.

20 cents increase for the first hour

The last price list published dates back to August 1, 2023. The new one was put online for this month of November, applicable since the 1st. Most car parks are affected by a price increase.

For one hour of parking, there is a 20 cent increase. In the first quarter of an hour, this represents 5 cents more for motorists who use occasional parking lots.

1st district:

• Town hall: 3.20 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.80 cents/15 minutes (+5 cents)
• Terreaux: 3.20 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.80 cents/15 minutes (+5 cents)

2nd district:

• Antonin Poncet: 3.20 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.80 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• Célestins: 3.20 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.80 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• Cordeliers: 3.20 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.80 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• Grolée: 3.20 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.80 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• Gare La Confluence Market: 2.80 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.70 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• Republic: 3.20 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.80 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• Saint-Antoine: 3.20 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.80 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)

3rd district:

• Bonnel-Servient: 2.80 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.70 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• Bear Pit: 2.80 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.70 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• Les Halles: 2.80 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.70 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)

4th district:

• Croix-Rousse: 2.80 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.70 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• Gros Caillou: 2.80 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.70 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)

5th district:

• Saint-Georges: 3.20 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.80 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• Saint-Jean: 3.20 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.80 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)

6th district:

• Morand: 3.20 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.80 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• P0 Cité Internationale: 2.80 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.70 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• P2 Cité Internationale: 2.80 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.70 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• Parc Minute Cité Internationale: always free for the first 30 minutes then 0.80 euros every two minutes (+ 5 cents)

7th district:

• Berthelot: 2.80 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.70 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• Tony Garnier: 3.20 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.80 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)
• Musée des Confluences – Gerland: new car park in the LPA area, 3.20 euros/hour, 0.80 cents/15 minutes and preferential rates for museum visitors.

Oullins and Villeurbanne

• Arlès Dufour: 0 to 4 hours = €0.35/15 min and from 4:01 a.m. to 24 hours = €0.15/15 min
• Villeurbanne Town Hall: 2.80 euros/hour (+20 cents), 0.70 cents/15 minutes (+0.5 cents)

Prices for LPA parking at the SNCF Part-Dieu station are also increasing.

Please note that LPA does not apply a price increase for subscribed cyclists. The subscription to park a bike in network car parks still costs 60 euros per year and 120 euros for a cargo bike.
