Goalkeeper Harri Säteri and the Biennois ended up cracking against Berne.

The Dutch carelessness did not allow them to achieve a second consecutive success. HC Bienne, still as juvenile due to its numerous absences, was too soft and lost against CP Berne (0-1), Friday at the Tissot Arena in the cantonal derby.

An empty cage missed by Victor Ejdsell and a powerful shot on the post from Toni Rajala. All this in 87 seconds. This great start augured an exciting opposition between the two rivals. The rest was much calmer. Generally speaking, the Bears, more experienced on paper, were the most enterprising in the first half of the game.

Notably thanks to Fabian Ritzmann. The center of the fourth triplet created several opportunities to open the scoring with his power, but each time he lacked precision in the last gesture.

Waltteri Merelä, l’homme en forme

In the Icelandic ranks, for their second appearance in the elite, the very young Jonah Neuenschwander and Livio Christen also managed to stand out on a few occasions, without however managing to score their first goal in the elite.

Jussi Tapola’s troop, more solid, ended up opening the scoring through Waltteri Merelä (48th, 0-1). The Finn continued his series of points. In November, he collected at least one in every game he played.

Biel never managed to deceive the vigilance of Philip Wüthrich. Martin Filander’s men will travel to Davos on Saturday.
