A serious accident, causing the death of a 53-year-old man, occurred this Thursday November 28, 2024around 6:30 p.m., on the departmental road 910in the town of Tancarville, near the roundabout located before the bridge, in the direction Le Havre-Rouen.

It was 6:41 p.m. when the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service received an emergency call to rescue a motorist.

The man got out of his vehicle

When they arrived, firefighters found that the man had been run over by his own vehicle “for an unknown reason”. The man “stopped on the public road and got out of his vehicle”, indicates Sdis 76.

“After being extricated by the firefighters, he was declared dead by the SMUR doctor on the scene,” add the fire fighters.

The tragedy, which occurred at rush hour, caused traffic jams on this busy route.
