On May 8, 2022, Antoine Alléno, son of the famous chef, was violently hit by a car while he was on his scooter. At the wheel of the stolen vehicle responsible for the collision was a man known to the police, drunk and under the influence of drugs. Antoine Alléno died instantly and his father, Yannick, has since tried to help the families of victims who experienced tragedies similar to the one he went through through the association he founded in tribute to his son. “We are unprepared for this kind of thing, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. It’s a flood of very painful administrative procedures. Going to the morgue to see your kid, preparing the funeral, receiving people… Everything collapses.” he explained last April on Europe 1 in Media culture.

He continued: “To hear: 'it's an accident'it's difficult. It's murder. For me, it's murder. He was murdered. The verdict is in for the driver

The culprit, aged 27, was tried on Thursday October 31, 2024 for aggravated manslaughter at the criminal court and the verdict fell this Thursday November 28. Our colleagues from Le Parisien reported that the father-in-law and brother-in-law of the driver who killed Antoine Alléno, whose criminal record is “very busy“were also tried for”meeting flight“. The Paris criminal court had requested six months and nine months of suspended prison sentence against them, and eight years of prison time against the driver accompanied by a committal warrant, as well…
