This Wednesday, November 27, emergency services were mobilized for a fire in an apartment, rue Maréchal-de-Lattre-de-Tassigny in Chalon-sur-Saône. According to initial information, a robot vacuum cleaner caught fire while it was in a cupboard. When firefighters arrived, the fire was extinguished and the resident was out of her home.
The smoky apartment
Emergency services ventilated the smoky apartment and checked the upper floors for carbon monoxide. The tenant should not be rehoused.
During the intervention, traffic was disrupted in rue Maréchal-de-Lattre-de-Tassigny. In addition to a van, a ladder and a fire brigade command vehicle, two crews from the national police, as well as GRDF and Enedis were on the scene.
