Gulf of Morbihan Vannes Agglomération is currently developing its Territorial Coherence Scheme (Scot), integrating the Air-Energy-Climate component. “The ongoing debate on this strategic document is a great opportunity to initiate and support the necessary transformations in our lifestyles. Like housing, working, getting around, eating, preserving the general framework of our environment,” explains Pierre Le Ray, vice-president of town planning at GMVA.
To explain this, the municipality is organizing a morning presentation of the various environmental, climatic, ecological and energy issues, Saturday November 30 at the town hall. “We come to relay information on the Scot Air-Energie-Climat at the local level with the participation of the Clim’Actions and Vélomotive associations.” It is important to keep in mind that the Scot is imposed on the local town planning plan.
This will be the first meeting of this type in the region to talk about ecological, energy transitions and adaptation to climate change. The objective is to see how this will play out in practice on a daily basis.
