Certainly, the former coach of the Girondins de Bordeaux,
Albert Rierais often involved in media escapades, sometimes despite himself. On Saturday, his club, Celje, won at home 1-0 against Koper in the Slovenian championship. At the end of the match, Koper president Ante Guberac first expressed his frustration, followed by Celje coach Albert Riera. Subsequently, the Koper leaders did not pull any punches by publishing an accusatory and aggressive press release, targeting in particular the match referee Pichet Matej, accusing him, among other things, of having deliberately harmed their club. The Bordeaux coach also took it for himself since his playing career in Slovenia was singled out, like his departure from Celje for the Girondins, or his sporting results in Gironde. It's not yet winter, but the former FCGB coach has been dressed again… Knowing him, there is no doubt that the answer will not take long.
“All Football fans who followed yesterday's match between Celje and Koper probably noticed the uneven standard of referee Matej Jug. From the start of the match, the aforementioned referee biased and subtly harmed the FC Koper team, thus directly influencing the action on the field. As an example, we will point out that Koper's team received more yellow cards than fouls in a calm and fair match.
Everyone in the structure of our club knows that the referee in question, Matej Jug, some time ago, in a drunken state, explained to a large audience how he would harm FC Koper as long as he would have the power, which he clearly proves in every match. This can be corroborated by the evidence and witnesses who were present during the event.
After yesterday's match, we were surprised to be approached by the delegate of the meeting, Mr. Žalik, who informed us that the main referee, Matej Jug, was going to file a complaint against the president of our club, because he allegedly made inappropriate comments to him as he left the field. We were stunned to hear the delegate inform the referee of this false report. Fortunately, the Head of NHS Security, Mr. Marko Brelih, witnessed the incident and immediately refuted and denied Arbitrator Jug's report, since Jug had made up the words mentioned in the report.
After the end of the match, the officials of FC Koper did not say a single word about yesterday's opponent and about the Slovenian Football Federation, which they respect as the umbrella organization of our football and which they do not blame for the excesses of individuals which clearly harm our football clubs and football in general.
However, at the end of the meeting, Celje coach Mr. Riera had to add his own words, because he constantly cares about Koper football club. He probably can't forget the days when he was doing tricks in Bonifika for 1,500.00 euros a month because he was not fit to play football in a team that was fighting to stay in the first division.
We have already mentioned his prostitution activities, where he ditched Celje and left for France in exchange for a few extra euros, where he was a failure and a shame. It then quickly returned, as there was no interest from bigger and better football clubs in fog sellers.
