Another 300 GB 5G mobile plan for less than €10/month? Yes, that’s Black Friday!

Mobile operators are competing for ever more interesting offers as Black Friday approaches. The current popular idea? Offering very generous 5G data envelopes at a really aggressive monthly rate. Today, it is RED by SFR which is trying to attract new customers with its 300 GB 5G mobile plan for less than 10 euros per month.

What does this RED by SFR package offer?

• 300 GB of 5G data in mainland France + 27 GB in the EU and the French Overseas Territories
• Unlimited calls, SMS and MMS

Until December 2, 2024, the 300 GB 5G package from RED by SFR is offered at 9.99 euros per month. This is obviously without obligation. The triple-cut SIM card is sold for 10 euros.

The MVNO Prixtel also offers a 300 GB 5G package at 9.99 euros per month, with the SFR network, but this is flexible and can go up to 350 GB for a price of 15.99 euros per month. .

A very generous package

If you refuse to arrive on the 15th of the month with a completely exhausted 5G data envelope, then the package currently offered by RED by SFR for Black Friday should interest you. This offer in fact includes 300 GB of 5G, which is more than enough to spend a significant amount of time on social networks, consult many websites, watch several episodes of a series in streaming in a row or even share a connection with several devices. And thanks to the 5G network, you will benefit from much faster speeds than 4G and lower latency on your smartphone. However, it must be compatible, of course, and you must be in an area covered by SFR's 5G network.

Furthermore, if you are traveling in a country in the European Union or in the French Overseas Territories, RED by SFR also provides a 27 GB envelope, which is more than enough to continue using its package comfortably. And if that's not enough, there's always the option of paying 5 euros more per month to benefit from 35 GB in the European Union and the overseas departments, including 20 GB in Switzerland, Andorra, Canada and the UNITED STATES.

Unlimited communications, but under conditions

The RED by SFR package also includes unlimited calls, SMS and MMS from mainland France, as well as from the European Union and the French Overseas Territories. Note, however, that a few conditions must be respected: each call is cut off after 3 hours of communication and calls, SMS and MMS are limited to 200 different recipients per month.

Finally, the package works without surprise with the SFR network, which also has a national antenna network which has improved in quality in recent years, whether in 4G or 5G. In 4G, it covers more than 99% of the population and 96% of mainland France, according to ARCEP. And on the 5G side, SFR occupies second place on the podium for 3.5 GHz sites, behind Orange, with 8,355 sites at present, again according to ARCEP.
