A project that she wants to see through to the end. Crowned Miss France 2024 on December 16 during a sumptuous ceremony organized at the Zénith in Dijon, Ève Gilles began a great and important chapter in her life. To successfully complete this year of reign, the 21-year-old had to put her studies on hold. Before entering the famous national beauty contest, the pretty brunette with the boyish haircut was a second-year MIASHS (mathematics and computer science applied to the human and social sciences) student in the hopes of becoming a statistician. Once she has handed in her crown, Ève Gilles is determined to return to school. A wish that she mentioned during an interview with Gala.fr as he approaches his first participation in Fort Boyard, broadcast this Saturday, July 6 on France 2. “I will slowly resume my studies. It is close to my heart and it calls to me. So I will return to mathematics to at least get to the diploma”she revealed.
And to continue: “And then, I would especially like to get involved in the fight against harassment. I think I would be closer in the associative environment to be able to help and listen to people.” Ambitious and curious to live beautiful experiences, the one who succeeded Indira Ampiot has other ideas in mind for her future. Just like Diane Leyre, Ève Gilles would like to represent France in the Miss Universe competition “at the end of the year”One confidence leading to another, the beauty queen revealed one of her great desires. “Next year, I would like to make my childhood dreams come true in the world of stage or entertainment.”she announced to Gala.fr. The program already looks set to be quite full for Ève Gilles.

Ève Gilles (Miss France 2024) talks about her first months of reign
For six months now, Ève Gilles has been making numerous trips and meeting the French. A start to her reign that fills this Northerner with joy. “It’s going really well. There are a lot of meetings and sharing. I go all over France and I meet lots of new people. It’s really a crazy experience. I feel like I’m bringing a little something to people’s lives. We forget the worries of everyday life to think about something” she confided to Gala.fr. And to add: “It changed my life overnight. I was a mathematics student and I worked 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. a day. Now, I’m Miss France seven days a week.”
A frenetic pace which is sometimes trying for Cindy Fabre’s protégé. “During the Miss France year, we do so many things thatwe wonder how our body is able to support all this”she confessed. No matter, Eve Gilles savors every most enriching moment. “I am learning to know myself, to know others and to know how to place myself in society. I feel that I have already evolved. I know that it will continue in this direction after Miss France.”she concluded.
