Almost all access to border posts and authorized crossing points between northern Lebanon and Syria were destroyed by a series of strikes carried out by the Israeli army, according to our correspondent in the region, Michel Hallak. The border posts of North Lebanon, namely that of Abboudiyé – Daboussiyé and that of of Aarida, as well as the two bridges which cross the Nahr el-Kabir, were hit. Still according to our correspondent, Israeli strikes in the border crossing areas of the region caused deaths and injuries, and damaged surrounding homes. It records two deaths at the Aarida station, including a child. A vehicle passing near the Abboudiyé post was damaged, but its passengers miraculously escaped unscathed, he added. An agricultural basin was also damaged in the town of Bahsa, as well as a historic bridge in Wadi Khaled.
