Quel Homme de Hus, one of the sons of Quidam de Revel with a mother by Candillo, has distinguished himself at the highest level and is already recording several promising offspring. The now eighteen-year-old stallion, brilliant under the saddle of Belgian Jérôme Guéry since 2019, will no longer compete and will devote himself solely to reproduction. In November 2022, shortly after winning silver at the Worlds, the Holsteiner injured his hamstring and underwent surgery a few months later. Three years after the Olympic bronze won by Belgium in Tokyo, Quel Homme de Hus retired after a final return among the elite, during the 2024 Olympic Games. Relive five of his most memorable journeys under the saddle of Jérôme Guéry.

In 2019, less than two months after their first round, the Belgian and the stallion won the Grand Prix of the CSI 5* in Mexico, a stop on the Longines Global Champions Tour.

On the occasion of the Tokyo Olympics, which were held in 2021, the couple participated in the Red Devils team bronze medal. Belgium totaled twelve points, while the United States recorded eight, equal to Olympic champions Sweden. These last two nations were decided in a high-voltage barrage.

In 2021, Jérôme Guéry entered the Top 10 of the Longines ranking, which opened the doors to the prestigious event reserved for the ten best in the world at the CHI in Geneva. Watch their initial flawless performance in this 1.65m event, finishing third despite four points in the second round.

Jérôme Guéry and Quel Homme de Hus obtained the title of world vice-champion in 2022 in Herning, behind Henrik von Eckermann and his fabulous King Edward. Relive their two winning rounds.

The Belgian team won the final of the Longines Nations Cup in Barcelona in 2022, under the leadership of team leader Peter Weinberg. Relive the last international victory of Quel Homme de Hus.
