During this derby, Lille supporters, many of whom made the short trip to Lens, unfortunately caused damage to their parking lot, breaking several seats, and also vandalized toilets.
Lille will compensate Lens
For this damage, LOSC would be obliged to compensate RC Lens, according to information from La Voix du Nord. The bill would amount to nearly 60,000 euros. Lille should pay the sum on condition that Lens deducts the 8,000 euros in management fees charged. This is not the first time that the club chaired by Olivier Létang must compensate its neighbor and rival Lens since LOSC had already paid for the breakage of the derby of September 18, 2021, marked by excesses and incidents occurring at half-time .
