Bonneval. More than two interventions per day for firefighters. Vehicles and firefighters were lined up on Saturday in the courtyard of the Bonneval rescue center, on the occasion of Sainte-Barbe Day and the review of the Bonneval and Bouville firefighters.
Emmanuel Dupont, head of the Bonneval center, Colonel Sébastien Salès, deputy director of SDIS 28, the mayor (SE) of Bonneval, Éric Jubert, the mayor of Bouville, Benoît Geslin and the deputy (Les Démocrates) Philippe Vigier took turns to tower saluted the courage and strength of the volunteer firefighters. “Your commitment is not a facade commitment,” underlined, for example, the Cloysian parliamentarian.
The territorial reorganization of emergency services closer to mayors and emergency centers, the launch of new constructions and the purchase of multi-purpose vehicles were discussed.
The numerous interventions carried out by the center were also recalled: 811 for Bonneval this year, including those linked to the recent floods, which represents more than two per day.
The ceremony ended with a presentation of awards and the presentation by Sergeant Guillaume Gouin, president of the association, of the badge specific to the Bonneval firefighters.
