The team usually attracts the attention of passers-by. On Thursday, July 4, at 6 p.m., Gaylord will park his Rosalotte in Bessan, on the town hall square. Gaylord has chosen a lifestyle and transportation that corresponds to his values of proximity in his relationship with people and with nature. The thirty-year-old travels the roads with his Rosalotte, a kind of 300-kilo trailer caravan… pulled using only the energy of his leg muscles. “Animal traction,” he says humorously.

At the front of the double-axle trailer, a recumbent bike, a trike, without any electric assistance. His only assistance, “is people’s smiles”. Having been on the road for months, Gaylord has decided on a journey that takes him where he meets people, without a specific goal. His leitmotif? Slow down to take the time to live and discover the treasures that life has in store for us. He has therefore decided to take his time (5 km per hour) to reduce his financial needs and get back in touch with the land.

His itinerancy forms a synthesis of his professional experiences and his memories of holidays in caravans, camper vans and vans. Full of ideas and enthusiasm, he sets up talks on another way of travelling, without petrol, and on the experience of taking the time to live, to the rhythm of the heart. He will be happy to talk with the Bessanais who wish to do so at the invitation of the town and the Renée Petit library, a partner of his visit. See you in front of the town hall on 4 July.
