A week after Liam Payne's funeral, new revelations related to the singer's death have surfaced. The singer was allegedly locked in his hotel room and tried to “escape” via the balcony.
Shocking revelations. According to TMZ's source this Monday, November 25, the hotel would be responsible for the death of Liam Payne. A week after the funeral of the 31-year-old singer, the media revealed that the latter tried to “escape” from his hotel room, because he could not stand being locked there.
According to one witness, the CasaSur facility in Argentina “knew he was threatening to use the balcony as a means of escape.” Indeed, according to video surveillance images – on which the former member of One Direction appears with his face blurred – the latter, angry, was transported by three hotel employees to his room, before he did not fall to his death from his balcony.
According to the police report, an emergency call would prove that staff knew that Liam Payne was planning to escape through the window. “I don’t know if his life is in danger. He’s in a room with a balcony, but we’re a little scared…”, the transcript of the exchange reportedly indicated.
Reach the second floor
Still according to TMZ, the British artist planned to reach the balcony of the floor below to escape. When his body was found, a bag was tied around his shoulder.
It was in fact not the first time that such an event had occurred with the singer. Last September, fearing that Liam Payne – who was renting a house in Florida – was under the influence of drugs, his bodyguard decided to bring him into his room. The young man then escaped via the balcony, using a garden hose.
Liam Payne died on October 16. His death shocked his fans around the world. The Argentine prosecutor's office revealed that he had consumed alcohol, cocaine and antidepressants before his death. Three people were charged with supplying him with drugs. Last Wednesday, his funeral was held in the south of England in the presence of his family, friends and former members of One Direction.
