Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has urged his players to maintain their commitment and focus as they prepare to face Feyenoord in the Champions League on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.

Guardiola said the team needed to show commitment and winning a match would help them get back to winning ways.

The coach acknowledged the challenges his team has faced due to injuries, including the absence of key players like Rodri and Ruben Dias.
“We normally play four central defenders, but we have injuries, we had to play Ilkay Gundogan, our best attacking midfielder, as a defensive midfielder due to injuries”, he explained.
Despite the setbacks, Pep Guardiola remains optimistic that the team will eventually turn things around.
“We create a lot of chances. We don’t win duels. We have to move back because our first central defenders are not there.
We must insist. If it’s not Tuesday, next Sunday. Otherwise, the next match. We keep trying”, he concluded.
