The Football Normand Debrief | Episode IX
Published on November 25, 2024
It's time for your Monday night date on FOOT NORMAND with your show dedicated to regional football: The DEBRIEF. After each weekend of N3-N2, we return to the news of the Normandy teams aligned in these two divisions.

Like every season, unfortunately, the weather conditions end up getting the better of the initial plan and the schedule. Thus, due to the cold snap that hit part of France at the end of last week, half of the meetings that we were supposed to offer you in this episode had to be postponed to a later date. Never mind, we have some great things to offer you, starting with the surge of US Avranches against Blois Foot 41 who, thanks to a double from Zourab Sopromadze, won 2-0 , which now earns him a place on the podium in Group B of National 2.
In National 3, the only exit team in group B, AF Virois did not make the trip for nothing since by winning 4-1 in Plabennec, the Bocains took control of the ranking. The only downside: defender Thomas Chenel once again injured his cruciate ligament in his knee, having recently recovered from the same injury. Good recovery to him!
In group D, ASPTT Caen did very well. Severely beaten 5-0 by AS Chatou two weeks ago, Laurent Dufour's men took out their nerves on an AC Ajaccio reserve who did nothing and won with a clear score of 6- 0. This success allows them to distance themselves, at least for the moment, from the red zone. For its part, at the other professional Corsican reserve of the group, SC Bastia, CMS Oissel held on and brought back a precious point (1-1) which keeps it close to the summits.
Finally, in group E, FC Dieppe carried out a superb operation by winning at the finish, in the last moments of added time, on the Pays du Valois field (2-1). With three consecutive victories, Djilalli Bekkar's men returned to contact, a small point behind first place held by US Vimy.
As a result of the numerous postponements, note in your diaries that the Debrief will return next week to deal with five late meetings (N3: Saint-Lô – Milizac, Flers – Vannes, SM Caen 2 – Saint-Ouen, Alençon – AG Caen ; N2: Granville – Le Poiré-sur-Vie). See you on Monday, December 2 at 7 p.m.!
In the meantime, we are once again counting on you to share this video around you, on your social networks.
