Match day before the match, and therefore press conference for PSG before the match against Bayern Munich. Vitinha appeared in front of journalists, and spoke about the return of Presnel Kimpembe.
This Monday, when Paris Saint-Germain announced its group of players called up for the match against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, the presence of Presnel Kimpembe caused a lot of talk. The central defender was retained for the first time in more than 600 days after suffering a serious injury to his Achilles tendon.
At a press conference before the meeting, Vitinha was questioned on the subject. The Portuguese midfielder encourages his partner.
“He hasn't been here for a long time. We're all really happy for him. He's over the worst. Now he has to enjoy himself. I sent him a message to give him strength.”
Kimpembe is not the only Parisian to make his return, Gonçalo Ramos is also in the group. The Portuguese striker had been injured in his ankle since August.
“Gonçalo (Ramos) is very happy. He's been away for a long time. He misses playing and scoring. We're here to help him when he comes back.”
Let's see if Luis Enrique gives his striker some playing time this Tuesday at the Allianz Arena.
