The Israeli Security Council will meet on Tuesday, November 26, to approve an agreement on a ceasefire in Lebanonan Israeli official said on Monday. More tensions this weekend
On Sunday, tension was still high. Lebanese Hezbollah fired heavy rocket fire on Israelwhich hit a building near Tel Aviv according to Israeli media, the day after major Israeli airstrikes on Beirut which left at least 20 dead.
Israel also has hit the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, controlled by Hezbollah, where intense bombing for two weeks coincides with signs of progress in ceasefire talks, led by the United States.
