The weekly report of the Entidade Reguladora dos Serviços Energéticos (ERSE), published this Monday, reveals that the average price of gasoline increased by 0.2% and 0.4% for diesel.

According to the ERSE document published this Monday, the effective price has been updated, “taking into account the weekly variation in international quotations for simple 95 gasoline of +0.9% and simple diesel of +0.4%”.

Thus, for the week of July 1 to 7, “the effective price before taxes is €0.848 per liter for simple 95 petrol and €0.870 for simple diesel. After taxes, the effective price amounts to €1.754 per liter for simple 95 petrol and €1.616 for simple diesel ».

ERSE recalls that the effective price “is a weekly average price estimated by the ERSE and results from the sum of the following elements: fuel prices on international reference markets and corresponding maritime freight, primary logistics, including strategic and system security reserves national oil company, additional costs linked to the incorporation of biofuels and the retail component plus corresponding taxes”.

Compared to the previous week, the report indicates that “the average of the sales prices to the public announced on the panels and reported to the Balcão Único da Energia was 2.9 cents per liter above the effective price of this week, for simple 95 gasoline, and 4.4 cents above for simple diesel ».

In percentage terms, “ordinary 95 gasoline was advertised on the panels 1.6% above the Efficient Price and ordinary diesel was advertised 2.7% above”according to the ERSE report.
