After the fire of anger near the Dijon ring road on Monday November 18, the Departmental Federation of Agricultural Operators’ Unions (FDSEA) and the Young Farmers (JA) of Côte-d’Or will to be heard again.
Two events are plannedone targeting the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB) in Montbard in the north of the department and the other, the Services and Payment Agency (ASP) in Dijon.
First gathering: this Tuesday in Montbard
The first gathering is planned this Tuesday, November 26 at 8 p.m. in front of the OFB premises in Montbard. Farmers wish to denounce practices that they consider penalizingsuch as controls which they consider too strict and a lack of pedagogy in supporting their environmental projects.
In a press release, demonstrators are invited to come with “ skips full of organic matter » to express their dissatisfaction.
Second gathering: Thursday in Dijon
The second gathering will take place Thursday, November 28 at 2 p.m. in front of the ASP premises, in the Toison-d’Or district in Dijon. The goal: to denounce payment delays linked to controls deemed to be meticulous, sometimes poorly coordinated, and poor management of control tools.
Farmers are demanding more accessible contacts and better consideration constraints of their jobparticularly during periods of high agricultural activity.
Targeted actions and minimized disruption
The FDSEA and the JA clarified in a press release their desire to limit disruption to the populationwhich they consider largely supportive of their demands.
