A fire broke out on the ground floor of a two-storey house in Montfaucon, mobilizing the Gard fire brigade. When they arrived on the scene, three occupants sheltering on the roof of the garage were quickly rescued. Despite the rapid and effective intervention of the emergency services, the damage was significant: the 90 m² house, invaded by smoke, is now uninhabitable.
A 40-year-old woman and a 5-year-old child, slightly poisoned by smoke, were transported to the Bagnols-sur-Cèze hospital center for examinations. The town hall immediately organized the rehousing of the three occupants to offer them a temporary solution.
