Garmin has released a new stable software update 26.30 for the Descent Mk2 series of smartwatches.
Here's what we know
More than half of the users of these devices have already received the update. One of the biggest new features is the new heart rate graph on the post-dive summary page, which replaces the old heart rate zone time graph. Additionally, the post-dive delay now defaults to five minutes, but users must reset the settings to see the changes.
The update also fixes an issue with PO2 notifications in the Plan Dive app and adds several changes for the Mk2i. These include the ability to receive additional SubWave notifications when using the Descent T2 transmitter and improved stability when receiving multiple notifications at the same time.
The update can be downloaded via Garmin Express or the Garmin Connect app. The Garmin Descent Mk2 currently retails for $1,059.99 on Amazon.
