Volunteers from the Let’s Get Your Heart in Spinach association are putting the finishing touches to the final preparations. The first edition of the Les champs gourmands festival will be open to the public this Wednesday, November 27, 2024, until Sunday 1is December.
“We decided to bring together the different actions that we carry out, such as the traveling pot or the solidarity market, into a festival, to put a focus on these events”specifies Arnaud Reybois, an organizer. Each day of the festival, with the exception of Friday, November 29, volunteers undertake different events related to food.

The opening of the festival will begin in Germaine with a conference by Mathieu Dalmais which provokes participatory reflection on healthy eating accessible to all. This is how he will discuss, among other things, short circuits and food social security.
The second day is partly about putting the previous day's topics into practice with the traveling pot, which will offer an anti-waste dinner and food from short circuits. In the evening at the House of Youth and Intercommunal Culture of Aÿ-Champagne, it's the film The share of others which will appeal to the public.
Looking for volunteers
A talk is organized on Saturday at the ZAC of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ with the Oasis Initiative Centers to promote agriculture and the rural environment. Pierre-Edouard Schadeck, secretary, will discuss the choice of food, biodiversity and the commitment of local producers. The closing event is the solidarity market which is now well known to the Ageans.
