The firefighters were alerted shortly after midnight on the night of Saturday November 23 to Sunday November 24, 2024 for a vehicle fire on rue du Millénaire in Savigné-l'Évêque, northeast of Le Mans.
22 firefighters from the Savigné, Montfort-le-Gesnois, Yvré-l'Évêque emergency centers and the Le Mans south barracks intervened. Two vehicles were on fire: a car and a camper van. The carport was also on fire. The fire, which generated explosions widely heard in the town, was extinguished using three hoses. The fire did not cause any injuries.
