After the Coupe de France break, return of R1 this evening. The Gérard Janvion Trophy teams counting for the R1 championship are competing on the 9th day of the competition, 6 matches of the day are scheduled for this Friday, November 22 from 8 p.m. The Espoir/RC Saint-Joseph match is postponed, the Sainte-Luce pitch is impassable.
What does this 9th day of the championship have in store for us? Will the cut – for some – have done good for the collectives and made it possible, for example, to treat minor injuries and return to competition with other arguments? The answer will be known around 10 p.m. this Friday (November 22).

The Foyalais are 9e in the general classification before kick-off, they were soundly beaten by CO Trénelle last week. The arrival of the reigning champions is a great opportunity to regain brilliance.
Aiglon/Samaritaine at Lamentin, a match with two teams who will quickly want to rediscover the taste of victory. The Samaritaine players and their supporters are still groggy after their defeat in the 7th round of the French Cup last Saturday. For its part, the Aiglon lost against the Espoir, the Lamentinois have an imperative need for points…they share the same aspiration as their opponents of the day.
Another great evening meeting, Golden-Lion/Club Colonial, never easy between these two teams. Fabrice Reuperné's Joséphins will play at home with a clear advantage. Advantage to the Rubimornais who remain on a good dynamic but be careful of excess confidence against the Schoelcherois, certainly young, but ambitious… They are 3 lengths behind the Péléens and could achieve a big blow if they succeed this evening.

Football is not an exact science, but the predictions are in favor of the locals who are 12e in the general classification. The Petit Bourgeois are down, only 3 goals scored in 8 matches and 23 conceded. However, there is no question of giving up and this derby presents itself well for an awakening on the occasion of this 9e daytime. The Diamond players don't see it that way.
Last meeting of this 9e day, CS Case-Pilote will face CO Trénelle at the Omer-Kromwel stadium in Case-Pilote. The Pilotins finally took their first points from the victory against the New Club and want to start a new dynamic in this 2024/2025 championship. As for the Trénelliens, their 3-0 success against the Golden-Star boosted the morale of the troops. Tonight's match comes at the right time for two teams with different backgrounds since the start of the season.
