After the snowfall this Thursday, many roads have not been cleared of snow and the ice is present in places, particularly on the secondary network. While the biggest difficulties were concentrated this Thursday on the A38 motorway between Dijon and Pouilly-en-Auxois, traffic slowed down almost everywhere this Friday morning. This Friday morning around 8:15 a.m., one of our listeners informed us that a heavy goods vehicle was stuck on the roundabout located at the entrance to the Longvic industrial zone, south of Dijon. This led to the formation of a traffic jam of almost 10 kilometers between Longvic, Ouges and Bretenière.
As a reminder, school transport is canceled this Friday morning in Côte-d'Or until 12 p.m. on the entire road and motorway network in the department. The prefecture has indicated that this ban on school transport is extended until 3 p.m. At Dijon station, traffic is very disrupted for TGVs coming from and going to Paris and Mulhouse, as well as for TER trains heading to Besançon. On the Divia network, traffic is fluid on the two tram lines but slightly slow on the bus network.
Note that a refreeze is expected for the night from Friday to Saturday before a rise in temperatures which should arrive during the weekend.
