Arbois. A day of rugby adapted to Ethole | Hebdo 39

The Juralliance team delighted with this day.

Last Wednesday, the Ethole stadium vibrated to the rhythm of a magnificent day of adapted rugby, organized by the Departmental Rugby Committee (CD39) and US Arbois Rugby. This event brought together residents of the Jura Medical-Educational Establishments and their supervisors for a day of discovery and learning.

Sports supervisors, USA rugby club, departmental rugby committee and elected officials.

Discovery, learning, sharing

The morning began with a series of workshops and sports games designed to familiarize participants with the oval ball. Young people in BP JEPS training from “Sport Jura Formation” were present, coming to support the CD39 team. An experience that allowed them to become familiar with the sports supervision of people with disabilities. At the beginning of the afternoon, it was the young people from the rugby school who came to join the participants.
A friendly match between all the supervisors encouraged by enthusiastic supporters closed this sporting day before the presentation of medals and trophies. This ceremony was a moment of great pride for the residents of the medical-educational establishments, and great satisfaction for their supervisors, organizers and volunteers.

Special values…

Rugby, by nature, is a team sport that values cooperation, mutual assistance and respect. In the context of adapted rugby, these values are further emphasized. Participants learn to support each other, respect differences and celebrate each other’s successes.
