Welcome » Policy » Salomon Beas (MRC): “I am committed to denouncing everything that is bad”
Salomon Beas bluntly recognizes the existence of tribalism, including in the ranks of the Movement for the Renaissance of Cameroon (MRC), of which he is an activist. But rather than ignoring it, he calls for fighting it with courage and firmness.
He made this known in a publication on Facebook, indicating that “leaders must themselves embody the values they wish to transmit”.
“I know I’m going to disappoint a lot of people
However, I really hope that they will be disappointed with regard to the veracity of the truths likely to be suppressed.
I DO NOT DO ACTIVISTISM OF CONVENIENCE.
When you denounce an injustice in your neighbor’s house, everyone applauds, if you intend to denounce the same injustice in your house, we start to say that we must be silent, we do not expose the family, we must endure , you have to let it happen…etc.
No, this way of doing things has destroyed Cameroon 42 years ago today, justice has double standards, public service with a family or tribal vocation, recruitment by affinities, governance by ambush..etc and I ‘is happening.
You should never accept it despite everything.
The values that we want to implement as leaders, we must first embody them in a personal way.
We must avoid being like a young girl who wears clean clothes when she goes to see her boyfriend even though her room looks like a trash can.
I am committed to denouncing everything that is bad and I will never back down regardless of the adversity I face.
There is tribalism in the house, let’s have the courage to fight it if we want to move the project forward peacefully while avoiding falling into the mistakes that others have made.
YOU HAVE NO MEANS OF MUSLING AGAINST ME”.
