From April 25 to 27, the Welcome in Tziganie festival will host Seissan, in the Gers. For its 18th edition, three new headliners have been revealed, including singer Barbara Pravi.
While the first entry passes to the Welcome in Tziganie festival went out at record speed, the organization continues to unveil its headliners. After announcing, among others, the return of the Hungarians from Besch o droM, the festival today announces to welcome Barbara Pravi & Aälma Dili for their show “Dalida – Diva Tzigane”.
“The singer reinterprets the repertoire of the popular icon by drawing on her Eastern and Balkan roots, accompanied by the fiery string quartet,” details the organization.

The singer was revealed during her participation in Eurovision 2021, with her cover of “Voilà”, performed by Dalida. “She will present her show in Seissan, which has only been performed three times: Dalida, Diva Tzigane,” explains the festival management. Through this show, the singer-songwriter and Didier Varrod, musical director of Radio France, hope to pay tribute to the Franco-Italian icon. She will be accompanied by the Balkan quartet Aälma Dili, who “particularly ignited the scene of Welcome in Tziganie in 2024”.
“Take the audience into an unstoppable trance”
The 2025 edition will also be the opportunity to find Samson Schmitt & Yannis Constans with their new project “Esperanza”. “Their new album of compositions is placed under the sign of family, full of color and warmth, the fruit of their numerous collaborations, underlines the festival. “The trio will receive on stage for the occasion the immense violinist Dorado Schmitt, as well as as two long-time friends, the Sicilians Roberto Gervasi (accordion) and Nicola Giammarinaro (clarinet).”

Finally, a third name has been added to the festival program: Anakronic Electro Orkestra. “On the Welcome in Tziganie stage, the group will perform their flagship pieces, including those from the album Noise in Sepher, which risks taking the audience into an unstoppable trance,” adds the festival organization.
