Event in Raymah marks death anniversary of scholar Sayyed Badr al-Din al-Houthi

RAYMAH June 28. 2024 (Saba) – An event was held yesterday, Thursday, in Raymah Governorate to commemorate the passing away of scholar Sayyid Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
The speeches at the event, which was attended by the governor’s deputy, Yaish al-Dhabibi, and the governor’s mobilization officer, Muhammad al-Nahari, touched on the scientific and religious contributions of scholar Sayyed Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to reforming the nation and the Yemeni people in particular, to defending the truth and fighting against injustice and arrogance.
The speeches reviewed the stages of the life of the late Badr al-Din al-Houthi and his career in teaching Quranic culture and combating foreign ideas and false culture in society.
These words confirmed that the scholar Badr al-Din al-Houthi was a divine scholar who enjoined good and forbade evil. He adopted an honest stance during his jihadist and scientific career, and his keenness to spread correct knowledge through his writings and books in addition to his establishment of the Quranic way.
He considers the commemoration of this anniversary as an important step to consolidate societal awareness and raise generations on the principles and values of the true Islamic religion, benefiting from the lives of the guiding figures and the greats of the nation, and following their approach in facing the enemies.
