Snow disrupts the Château-Gontier market

Thursday is market day in Château-Gontier. Snow disrupts the market. Traders would have already left: “I arrived at 5 a.m. so I had no problem on the road,” explains Thierry Nicole, from Segré (Maine-et-) who runs the Le moulin de la Galette truck. He is already worried about attendance: “I’m a customer, I’m not traveling so it’s bound to be a problem”he whispers. “I take my fish, my cold meats and I leave. It’s too bad”says Jeannine from Château-Gontier, while collecting some pancakes.

Further on, the kale and head cabbages from this producer from Morannes are under a few flakes. “I’m not staying all morning. I'm waiting for one or two more customers and I'm leaving.”he says.
