Edmonton will host a Professional Women’s Hockey League (LPHF) game on February 16 between the Toronto Scepters and the Ottawa Charge at Rogers Place.

The Alberta capital is the last city announced as part of this tour on neutral ground of nine matches with various teams from the LPHF.

The other matches will be played on Canadian soil, in Vancouver and Quebec, but also in the United States, notably in Seattle, Denver, Buffalo, Raleigh, Detroit and St. Louis.

Offering matches of the LPHF to fans of both countries is a natural step to continue growing our audiencesaid Amy Scheer, senior vice president of business operations for the LPHF.

Amy Scheer underlined in a press release that the enthusiasm of the cities where these meetings take place is incredibly encouraging.

The LPHF also plans to add two other teams to its league in 2025-2026.

The second season of the Professional Women’s Hockey League will begin on November 30, in Toronto, with a clash between the Scepters and the Boston Fleet. There will also be a home opener played by the Montreal Victory against the Ottawa Charge.
