From November 15 and until the end of February 2025, La Chaloupe d’Or opens the doors to its “Secret Chalet”, a unique and cozy place located on the fourth floor of this historic Brussels establishment.
This private and intimate space is the ideal place to spend an ultra warm and cozy moment, whether with friends, as a couple or with family. On the program, a gastronomic experience centered around mountain flavors with emblematic dishes such as melting raclette or gourmet fondue.
A secret chalet with stunning views
Perched at the top of the famous Grand-Place, the “Secret Chalet” immediately transports you into the warm atmosphere of the Alps. This Swiss chalet-inspired decor offers stunning views of one of the world’s most iconic squares, while being sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the city. This cozy and authentic setting immerses us in the mountain atmosphere, ideal for enjoying comforting dishes in the heart of Brussels.
This winter, the Secret Chalet is offering several options: Traditional Swiss Raclette – melted cheese and mountain assortments (€49), Fondue aux Trois Fromages d’Exception – Gruyère AOP, Emmentaler AOP, Sbrinz AOP (49 €) and Fondue aux Morels (+ €15 per 2 people) or Black Truffle Fondue (Tuber melanosporum) (+€19 per 2 people). Each dish is accompanied by a selection of fine cold meats, grilled vegetables, new potatoes, and other delights to honor the traditions of the mountain. The pop-up restaurant also offers a selection of sweets and drinks specially designed for the occasion.
