A final farewell to Liam Payne. More than a month after the artist’s death, his funeral will take place this Wednesday, November 20 in the south of England, in the strictest privacy, report British media.
According to the press, the ceremony will be closed to the public. Only Liam Payne’s family and loved ones will be present. Among them, the other four members of One Direction, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles.
Three people indicted
Liam Payne was found dead on October 16 after falling from his hotel room balcony. THE preliminary autopsy results established that he was going through “a sort of crisis due to substance abuse” and that he had consumed cocaine, alcohol and antidepressants before his death, according to the Argentine prosecutor’s office.
The investigation opened into the causes of the singer’s death, with the examination of cell phones, computers and videos from security cameras, searches in the hotel room and “numerous witness statements”, led to the indictment of three people for selling drugs and abandoning a vulnerable person, announced the prosecution.
Without specifying the names of the people involved, the Argentine prosecutor’s office specified that one of them, who accompanied Liam Payne daily during his stay in Buenos Aires, was charged with “abandonment of a person followed by death”, an offense punishable by 5 to 15 years in prison, and supply of narcotics.
