An entire West/East axis is affected by orange vigilance activated by Météo France services. For our department of Côte d'Or, vigilance is operational from midday until nighttime. Caution is required when traveling. Plan to postpone them if possible.

WARNING ORANGE SNOW ICE
Météo France has placed the Côte-d'Or department on orange snow-ice alert from Thursday, November 21 at 11 a.m. This vigilance also concerns the following departments: Aube, Yonne, Haute-Marne, Vosges, Haute-Saône, Doubs, Territoire de Belfort and Haut-Rhin.
The start of snowfall is expected around midday until mid-evening. 3 to 10 cm are expected throughout the day tomorrow, locally 15 cm on the Côte-d'Or.
Advice and recommendations for individuals
➢ Be careful and vigilant if you absolutely have to travel.
➢ Prepare your trip and your itinerary. Remember to equip your vehicle with special equipment and protect yourself from the cold.
➢ Respect the traffic restrictions and diversions put in place.
➢ Facilitate the passage of road and highway clearing equipment, in particular by parking your vehicle outside the traffic lanes.
➢ Protect yourself from falls and protect others by clearing the snow and salting the sidewalks in front of your home, while avoiding blocking the water drains.
