The city of Casablanca provides citizens with a weekly bulletin of wholesale prices of meats, fruits and vegetables most demanded on the markets. Vegetables: drop in prices of tomatoes, onions and zucchini

For this week, the prices of several vegetables headlights have started to decline again. THE tomatoes, onions and zucchini saw their prices drop to 4 DH/kg, 2.50 DH/kg and 5.50 DH/kg respectively. The same observation is observed in the price of eggplants and cucumbers with a variation of 0.5 to 1 DH less.

Fruits: general stability with the exception of pomegranates

On the side of fruitsthe trend is towards stability for the majority of products, notably avocados, bananas and local appleswith respective prices of 17 DH/kg, 7.50 DH/kg and 9 DH/kg. The price of oranges remains below the 5 DH/kg mark, while that of grenades recorded a slight increase to around 4.20 DH/kg.

Rise in sheep meat prices

For the red meatsan increase of 7 DH was observed in the indicative prices per kilogram of viande ovinereaching almost 120 DH. THE viandes bovinesfor their part, remain stable in the Casablanca slaughterhouses, with a price varying between 91 and 93 DH/kg.
