The lifeless body of a 19-year-old young man was found this Monday, November 18. The victim disappeared on the night of Friday November 15 to Saturday November 16, 2024, in Roanne (Loire), indicates BFMTV . His body “was discovered submerged in the Loire by divers engaged in the research system”announced the Roanne public prosecutor's office in a press release relayed by the news channel.
The victim fell into the river
The young man was last seen around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday near the “Club 50”, a nightclub in Roanne. The gendarmerie launched a call for witnesses to try to find him and the prosecution opened an investigation into a worrying disappearance.
According to the first elements of the investigation, he fell into the river “from the deck of the bridge connecting Roanne to the Coteau”. “No evidence suggestive of the intervention of a third party has been noted to date”specifies the prosecution.
